Are the batteries 'fresh / new' ??
Is the controller sending a signal ?? (Check by looking at the emmitter through yours or somebodies digital camera - you will see the LED flashing)

This will allow you to establish if its the remote not working, or the TV not receiving..Once you have done this . . feel free to post for next steps..

How to Remove Parental Lock on a Jensen TV.

This is a brilliantly simple solution to a highly frustrating problem.<br /> <br /> The issue of course is made difficult only by the fact that TV manufacturers all use several different ways to lock and unlock the Parental control which effectively disables the TV! If you do not have access to the information you do not know what combination of buttons is required to return the TV to normal function.<br /> <br /> To remove the lock on the Jensen simpy press and hold the <b>Display Button</b> on the remote<b> </b>for at least 3 seconds whilst pointing it at the TV. <br /> <br /> The lock will be removed and the TV will resume normal operation. Simple!.<br /> <br /> Please do leave a vote for the solution. Thanks for using FixYa.

Lost the remote for my Jensen JE1909 T.V. in my camper. Will a universal remote work on this T.V.?

Hello,

Yes it will and your brand of TV could already be in the menu of the universal remote and even if not, they are a piece of cake to setup. We have two different ones in our home as the original remotes had issues with different numbers that stopped working. I would purchase one from Best Buy as they have great customer service and also a good return policy. Regards, Dennis

I need the tv code number to put into my Jensen Universal remote control for a Panasonic TV on cable, TV Model# CT-27S18S. I also need to know how to program these numbers into the Jensen remote Remote...

the panasonic numbers are one of the following

0051, 0250, 0055and to program it you need to do

Turn on the component that you want to set up.
Press and release the component key you would like to configure. The red LED will blink once.
Press and hold the "Setup" key until the red LED blinks twice, then release.
Enter the first 4-digit code number for the device you are trying to program. The LED will blink one on each digit entered, except for the last digit where it will blink twice to confirm that a valid code has been programmed.
Now test the code by pressing the "Power" key. If the component turns off, you've got the right code. Follow the same instructions to set up your other components. If the component doesn't turn off, return to step 3 and use the next 4-digit code listed.

Tv does not power up properly

Sounds like it is in demo mode. First check in the owners manual for auto demonstration, then try unplugging the set for 5 mins. If that doesn't correct it call the store you bought it from and see if the salesperson knows how to turn off auto demo. If all else fails, contact the manufacturer for help.

V-chip block on Jensen JE2269 Digital LCD_TV

If it helps any, I had the same TV with the same Weather Channel issue, also on a boat. It took months of constant contact but they ended up replacing my TV with a different model and after several months with the new one I have had no problems. This started in 2007 (I was the 11-12-07 post) and it took jumping through a few hoops to get the replacement. Good luck.
