Question about Sony Walkman D-EJ360 Personal CD Player
I have a Sony Walkman D-EJ360 portable cd player. It was working fine but now every button but play wont work im worndering if its something loose inside or maybe something elce i did or can fix. I've tryed everything but taking it apart thus far. i don't know what to do, any ideas.
I suggest flipping the "hold" switch, just in case.

On almost every port. cd player is a botton lock switch . Some make all the buttons not work and some units only let play work. I suggest you look for this before taking apart as these units have whats called ribbon cable inside them and are very easy to damage them.

There is a switch on the bottom of the unit that puts it in "HOLD" mode. My guess its for use when it is shipped so there will be less chance of damage. Try switching the two position switch to the other position.

On your player there is a switch, usually on the bottom or inside the CD compartment. It will say "hold". You need to switch this in the opposite direction that it is currently in. Afterwards you should have no problems. This feature is designed to lock your player so that you don't accidently push buttons when your active.
