WHEN I RECORD A TAPE,AND PLAY IT BACK,THERE IS NO AUDIO . WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

WHEN I PLAYBACK FROM THE PALMCORDER INSELF,
NOW IT IS STARTING TO RECORD ,THEN SOMETIME IT DON'T RECORD AUDIO AT ALL.

Need more info please.is this when you play back thru the adaptor or playback from the camcorder its self???
