We had a power failure for a few hours.
Now one of the three phones, is constantly ringing.
The other 2 are not. I tried replacing the batteries.
    that didn't help. Any ideas?

This happened to me today!
Do the following in order:

1.take battery out of back of phone
2. unplug all phone lines from phone, then unplug all phone lines from wall
3. unplug ac from phone, then from wall
Wait 30 seconds.
In this order:
1. replace battery
2. replace phone line(s) to phone, then to wall
3. replace ac to phone, then to wall.

These steps solved it for me! Good luck.

Unfortunately for me, this hasn't stopped the beeping. Why doesn't AT&T have more info on this!?

The phone beeps constantly and the lights flash

Is there a message that was not played. Beep might be from message unit warning that there is one not played.

Phone lines are flashing making a loud beeping noise. The screen is texting funny words. Phone is ringing with ambulance style ring before the normal tone

There are 2 possibilities. You have either toasted the system, or you have bad wiring. Start by unplugging all the extensions. The model and time frame is right that this is a TA series box, which has 3 CO lines and 8 extension jacks on every card. Leave the lines plugged in and unplug all the extensions. Now take a phone and plug it into Jack 01. Does it work? If it does, keep plugging extensons in until it fails. That will give you an idea what's bad. If it failed with one phone plugged into jack 1, you probably have a dead system.

Uniden Dect 6.0, the base keeps beeping

You have your answering machine set up to beep when you get a new message. Go through the menu for setting up the answering machine and turn that feature off.

I have a Uniden TRU8865-2 and I am trying to reset the base to clear non-exisistent handsets from the registry.

Unplug the power and phone cord from the base. Hold the find headset button and plug it back it continue holding the button until you hear a beep, then register the working phones.

Remove the base by taking out the five screws. Look for the ribbon cable on the left hand side. On each side of the cable is a little brown nub, pull away from the circuit board to release the tension. Pull the ribbon cable out, this will reset the circuit board. Put the ribbon cable back in and push the nubs towards the circuit board. This will add tension to the connection. Put the base back together using the 5 screws. Plug in your phone and you should be set.

Just bought an additional handset for GE 27951 expandable 6.0 DECT Cordless. I press and hold the Page button for 5 seconds but the new handset will not register. Error keeps occurring "no base."

This exact thing happened to me. Same model number. No matter what I did, the new handsets would not register.

The solution? Reset the entire system:
1. On the BASE - Unplug from wall both power and phone line. Unplug battery from base handset.
2. ON the Extension phone - unplug from wall and unplug battery from handset.
3. Wait AT LEAST 5 minutes.
4. Plug back in BASE power.
5. Plug back in BASE phone line.
6. Plug back in EXTENSION handset battery. Don't plug in BASE handset yet.
7. Follow steps to program EXTENSION. When successful:
8. Plug back in BASE handset battery.

How to unlock the keypad?

Try unplugging it and removing the batteries. Let it set for a couple of hours, put the batteries back in, plug it in and see if this resets it.
