Hi k_d_nsyg ,
Install a replacement HD and see what it does when launching the Vista install disc .
if it works , you can probably still recover the data from the old HD with a recovery software such as :
http://download.cnet.com/Recuva/3000-2242_4-10753287.html
or http://www.tenorshare.com/data-recoveryr.html by placing the defective Hd in an external box connected to a healthy computer .
If you don't succeed to get your pc running , you need to bring your machine to a qualified repair office .
Best regards ,
fanaudi .

Cant print nothing

Try unplugging your usb cable to the printer, uninstalling the printer software, reinstalling the printer software, and plugging the usb cable back in when instructed during the installation.

Dell inspiron 530s.when powered up cpu.fan runs very fast, computer gives 1 beep then powers off.It sometimes restarts itself only for the same thing to occur.

Good Morning--The 1 beep with the Dell Inspiron 530 is due to a bios check sum failure and or possible motherboard failure. The best resolution is to contact Dell and to see what they say. If you have any other questions--feel free to contact us at [email protected]

My Dell Inspiron 530 wont turn on

yes buy a power supply. I have seen hundreds of computers that have gone through storms. Remember a Dell usually uses a special power supply.
For a good deal look on ebay for your specific model, They almost always have "Buy it Now" deals.

Will not boot

Insert your bootable OS software disc in the CD/DVD drive and boot from the ROM. Run checkdisk and then try to repair the OS from the original OS disc, it should give you a chance to start the PC after that continue as per instructions on the screen...................sodeep

WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER SOUNDS BAD

download real player, if everything sounds good with real player, uninstall windows media player and reinstall it. If you keep reinstalling it ontop of itself the issue will not get fixed. Its probably a media codec issue.
