a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Have you ever received a phone from a relative, friend or just upgraded to a new phone and don't have the time or patience to call into a call center for support with activating the device or updating the PRL (Preferred Roaming List)? We all know the hold times can be long, the representatives may not be as helpful as we would like them to be or of course the wrong line gets changed causing a previously working phone to stop working (we all love that). And of course a simple 5-10 minute call has now turned into a 30 minute call (as if you had no plans to go to dinner or watch some T.V.). Well here are steps you can follow to program, update your PRL or process an ESN change with your new or new to you VZW (Verizon Wireless) phone. If the device you acquired is brand new or new to you and the ESN (Electronic Serial Number) has not been changed on the MDN (your phone number) you simply need to power off the old phone and on the new phone dial *228 and select option 3 when prompted. This option processes the ESN change automatically, programs the number into the phone and updates the PRL.
If the ESN change has already been processed you simply need to dial *228 and select option 1 to program your phone.
Lastly if you just need to update the PRL then dial *228 and select option 2. The PRL (Preferred Roaming List) update will ensure your phone is roaming on the tower that provides the best signal, potentially enhancing your service.
That's it! You are now ready to use your new phone!
