Question about Televison & Video
Ok it could be a fan...or a colorwheel...turn the tv on....let it power all the way up...then shut down ...you are listening for WHEN the noise stops...does it stop when the lamp powers down..look @ the back to see this..if it does then it will need a colorwheel..if the noise is there for 5-10 minutes after lamp has shutdown then it is a fan...problem: there are 3-4 fans in the tv...which one is the next question...let me know what you find..

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

It is the fan. Don't know if you got my original post. The PN of the fan is AFB1212L. Having trouble finding one.
Thanks
