Creative Inspire T6100 5.1 - Front Left, Front Right speakers not working?

Hey again, I know this is a second post. But the power works now.. i just left it a few minutes and tried again. But anyway now I have this other problem. I did the standard control pannel > sound > change to 5.1 however when I do a test, centre works, sub works but, the back left speaker and back right play a sound for the front left and front right, leaving the front right and front left mute in reality but the back left and back right mute according to the sound test. Sorry if thats confusing. But that is the problem I have and would be greatful if anyone could help me. 1) I am on vista 32 bit and I also have xp. Same problem for both. Thanks

when i do the sound test, it only comes out of the rear speakers for all the speakers-none of the others make a sound

Could it be that you have the jack-plugs for front and back speakers transposed?

Control pod quit working i have a inspire 7800 is there a universal that i can use

I have the same set of speakers and it seems to be a common problem. I've noticed that I can usually get it to work again by disconnecting the power to the unit for 5 minutes and it'll start working again. If that doesn't work, unfortunately, the control unit is proprietary. You might have some luck if you contact Creative support.

Go to "Contact Us" > "Customer Support" > "Technical Assistance" > "Speakers" and provide a description of the problem along with the model number of the unit.

Hai, i have recently purchased creative inspire t6100 5.1 speaker system (My PC Operating system is Windows 7 and audio driver is realtek HDD 2.57 version). All speakers are working except front right...

All color code wires are in appropriately? If so, right click the speaker in the notifications tray, and click on playback devices. Fine your motherboard out. Right click it and configure it to output in 5.1
If that doesn't fix your problem then you have a hardware problem with the speakers.

Creative Inspire 5200 speakers connecting to DVD player.

These are computer speakers, they will not work for a dvd player... Your dvd player has an rca/collex (SP) cable while your speakers have a 2.5 headphone style jack
