Panasonic Lumix DMC TS3 waterproof camera. After taking my camera to a fresh water lake, during which I took picture while swimming, I turned on my camera and the screen was very dark/dim. I could see the Lumix logo when it turns on and the on-screen menu as well. However, when I take a picture and view the picture on my computer, the picture is completely black. Is this a shutter problem or more internal? Can I resolve this issue without sending my camera to Panasonic?

let me explain to you guys, these cameras are slim line cameras and if dropped or mishandled it is going to give problems. you cant blame the camera if you are not handling it corectly.

Remove the card and battery. Clean the battery contacts inside camera with a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol. Be sure battery is charged. Press all buttons on camera. Insert card and then the battery. See if it works. If you can now get into the setup menu, you can do a reset from the menu.
