You might need a good, expensive HDMI cable - they come in various grades. 1080P and 3D require the most expensive, shielded HDMI cable. When the input detects noise on the cable, they unit resets, and can get stuck in a loop if there is a lot of electrical noise..

well it is probably the convergasnce needs set not parts when did you last have it serviced? these tvs need serviced every 3 years or so but can last longer basically in the back there are 20 odd thing like volume controllers that adjust the color and convergence ect you just need to get a tv service person out to service it then it will be like new again it will cost around 120 pounds but will definitely be worth it but don't attempt it yourself its not for people that are not trained believe me i tried and mines was out so much it couldn't be fixed lol but its worth every penny my friend just had his done after 5 years and its like new again i say 120 pounds but don't quote me it should be cheaper most tv repair company do it get the phone book out i hope this helped and i would like to know how you get on but don't worry calling out a repair man cant hurt im 99 percent positive that will be the problem but if not at-least you will find out if its not for free!!

Can the screen onf the Livingstation LCD be replaced? We had an accident and the screen got hit by something that put a whole in it. Everyting else is working OK.

you should be able to order parts from the manufacture in your owners manuel there should be a number to contact them for parts and servicers
the cost may be the big issue as it may be cheaper to replace the set

Is conwa a good brand, are there usally any problems with that brand. just bought a conwa plasma (two years old aprox) and because there is not much on the internet about the brand, and wanting to know if...

I am not sure about Conwa, However you need to see if they have replacement parts as alot of TV manufacturers that are off brand dont offer any service or replacement parts after the set is out of warranty, so thats the main thing with buying off brand name Products as most have to be disposed of when they breakdown, as replacement parts are unavailable.I would recomend trying to locate a service manual and then checking on the availability of parts. If youre unable to locate any service info on your model that may be a good indicatiion that replacement parts may notbe available for your model should you need them. But if youre able to locate a parts source, then in the event that you do need parts you will be ahead of the game.

The problem with your set is the convergence ICs you need to replace both ICs numbers STK392-120 you can get the new ICs at the following link and they include free instalation instructions with pictures so you can do the repair yourself which takes about 45 minutes and requires basic soldering ability. Heres the link you will need two STK3920120 Convergence ICs. The manual will not help as it doesnt show the IC instalation.

LS47P1 Epson Living Station

Sounds like it might me a source or connection issue. However, you would know to check that - right? Just the other day i had a damaged cable cause an image problem. I replaced it and all is well again.

If not a source or cable issue - then this sounds like you'll need a service call from an Epson tech. I'd give them and - might I add - I'd apprecaite knowing how this turned out. I wonder how I might have to deal with problems down the road... IE get service and fix it or just throw out the Livingstation!?

Yes this is a normal diagnoise. Just about every Tube type projection TV set ever made will one day need these IC's replaced. They are not really that hard to replace but you would need to know how to solder and unsolder on printed circuit boards, know the procedture, and then have a service manual handy to adjust the convergence after yoou replaced the IC's. If the tech works on alot of these types of TV sets's, most likely they could adjust them without having a service manua handy. This repair done by a pro should run you anywhere from 250 on up to 400 bucks depending on who does the repair and where. Good Luck
