Whats the model number of your set, a panasonic 3 blinks is Convergence a RCa is flyback. Please respond to this same post with the model number of your set and I will assist you with the problem.
yes 3 blinks is the code for a bad flyback on your model. You need flyback 259296 you can get a replacement fyback at the following link and they provide free online instant messageing support that takes you step by step while you do the actual repair. Very easy repair. Heres the link.

possibly CP114 and CP150 those are often bad when the flyback has issues. Check those two caps especially CP150
they are marked on the top side of the board about 3/4 up the board toward the front in the middle

found them, now I'm trying to locate solder points.........not easy, aye.......or desolder points...
