Can't get the memory card out of the phone. - Lands Phones

Hi,when a memory card does not detect on phone, it simply because the the memory card you inserted into the phone is not properly fixed or the memory card you inserted into the phone is damaged,that's when if doesn't detect the memory card on the phone.

You can insert the memory card inside a card reader or a friends phone that uses the same memory card type to confirm if the memory card is not damaged yet.

I guess that will solve the problem.

The reason the phone is not reading the memory card is either the phones memory card slot is faulty or the memory card is not in good conditions.

To test if it is the phone, try a well tested memory card in the phone to see if it reads it, if it does not then it is the memory card slot.

to solve that, try to open the phone and clean with spirit and drey it with the heat from a bulb, or you can replace the slot.

To test if it is the memory card, try the memory card another phone that the memory card is working fine.

if it does not read the memory card, then the fault is from the memory card, and the solution is simply to replace the memory card.

Make sure the memory card is not above 16GB.

A locked memory card can restrict you from accessing the essential features and functions of your cell phone. Without access to your numbers, pictures, or ringers, you could be left with a very empty cellular experience. With a simple memory card reader, you can unlock your Nokia N73 memory card in mere minutes.

1. Step 1 Turn on your Nokia cell phone.
   
2. Step 2 Remove the memory card from your phone by sliding off the back panel and prying the memory card out of its slot. Place the memory card into your memory card reader.
   
3. Step 3 Create this directory on your memory card reader: E:\System\Recogs.
   
4. Step 4 Type the code: thc-nokia-unlock.mdl into your new directory on the memory card reader.
   
5. Step 5 Take the memory card out of the memory card reader and replace it in your cell phone. Wait around two to three minutes for the directory program to load from the memory card into your phone.
   
6. Step 6 Take the battery out of your phone next, which is found under the back panel and near the memory card. Next, remove the memory card again and replace the battery.

Solution 1: Set to save the files into SD card rather than into Phone memory. For example, set song folder and picture folder to a location on memory card. Refer to the phone manual for detailed steps.

Solution 2: use a computer and card reader to manually store songs into SD card. Then set the phone to folder into sd card to get the songs. Clear phone memory afterward.

You need a memory card reader to do this.
Turn on your Nokia cell phone.

That means that memory card is faulty and you must replace the memory card.

Test the memory card on a computer using a card reader and test a different card inside the phone.

If the phone returns same error with all memory cards, then the phone memory card slot is faulty, otherwise just replace memory card.

That means that the phone is not detecting the memory card.

this happens either when memory card is faulty, or when there is a problem on memory card slot contacts in phone (eg:dirt, broken contact).

Test the memory card on a computer with card reader.
If memory ccard does not work on PC, then the card is faulty, data may be lost. In that case test phone with new memory card.
If memory card is OK , try blowing into memory card slot in phone and reinsert memory card in phone after backing up your data.
If the phone does not work with more memory cards, then the phone memory card slot is defective.

The memory card is pre-formatted. If a memory card needs formatting the phone will request that you format the memory card (the menu for this will appear on the phone). You can't re-format it. Memory status

If you insert a FAT32-formatted memory card, the phone will ask you to reformat the

Frequent erasing and writing will shorten a memory card’s lifespan.

• Do not subject memory cards to strong shocks.
• Do not touch memory card terminals with your fingers or metal objects. If dirty, wipe the card with a soft cloth.
