TV turns on then off no picture

-   mine doesn't really turn off it just kinda flashes and looses sound. Sometimes it helps if I turn it off during commercials but it seems to be getting worse. It also seems to be doing it more at night. All my friends one of whom is an electrician said it was the power supply but I JUST HAD the POWERE SUPPLY FIXED about A WEEK AGO. It just gets so frusterating missing sentences. At first it seemed to do it at random but now it seems to do it more at the beginning or end of a commercial or, of course right when the show comes back on. -   this is the 2nd tv that has done this to me. I have the tv plugged into a surge protector. I think the problem my be with in the cable wiring in the wall. I have a stero system plugged into the same surge and it has no problmes-   Guest

-   I have the same problem, took off the back cover and was dusty, but still no solution, probably think its a fuse, will try to unplug circuit board and see what happens , also will call or email co. for circuit board diagram. will get back to you-   russplasma
