I have a hampton bay remote that just stopped working. I have installed new batteries, have checked the code with another remote so I know the problem isn't the fan. The light on the remote does not...

If the light on the remote is not lighting when you push a button, check the batteries to make sure they are in the proper position. If one is turned the wrong way, the hand held will not work. You may also want to check the replacement batteries to make sure they are fully charged. If all this fails to solve the problem, you will need replace the hand held remote. Since Hampton Bay Fans are a house brand for Home Depot, they stock and sell replacement hand held remote controls.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

What does the "dry mode" mean in a Hampton Bay air

"dry mode" normally means, to dehumidify only. this will not cool the air nor heat it consistently.

The "dry mode" dehumidifies the air. This is useful when you do not need to cool the air but the relative humidity is higher than you want to have inside. You get the advantage of bringing in the fresh air without increasing the indoor humidity.

I hope this helps.

I have a Hampton Bay Cieling fan, model # FAN- DH L3H2003, and the remote control does not work. How can I get a replacement?

before you buy a new hand-held remote ... have you changed ALL the batteries. There's a set in the hand-held remote and batteries in the receiver, which is behind the fan's cowling. If you haven't changed them all, I'd do that before investing in a new remote control.

if you find, after changing all the batteries, you do need a new remote control, here is a link to one for all Hampton Bay Ceiling Fans.

I have a Hampton Bay dehumidifier HB40 that produces ice and water over the grid and does not drain down the attached hose.

Turn it off and let it thaw. Once this is done remove and clean the filter. I am assuming that all the fans are operational too. Finally do not turn the temperature down too far. Just set it to the temp that you want it to be. Anything below 70 may result in a freeze situation.

If non of the above work, you will need a technician to measure the refrigerant levels in the system.
