Question about GE JVM2070 Microwave Oven
Sadly, GE does not offer this as a separate part for this model.
You would have to replace the entire "control panel subassembly".
That's a simple enough job for a do-it-yourselfer, but the part price is astronomical.
GE sells this assembly for $435.00 GE, but you can get it for $376.33 (part # WB07X10858) from the Pros here: http://tinyurl.com/gv383
The price of the assembly approaches the current retail price of the oven itself. You can find whole JVM2070 ovens on eBay for less.
If you decide to replace the assembly yourself, see my site for a video on disassembly.
Whether you replace the assembly or replace the oven, I would be interested in buying your old unit.
Once the control panel assembly is removed, all that is left is safe to recycle or dispose of.
