Print Error

This problem is related with the paper sensor, located in the left tractor (frontal or rear, depends on what are you using). If you are able to disassembly the printer and the tractor, you can clean inside, cause this sensor, inside is a optical sensor, and the paper dust uses to block the led. If you are not so able, try to eschange the tractor. I recommend you to be so carefull to handle this printer, while you are disassembling it. May cause some uncalibrating of some systems.

make sure the thickness lever is set to 0.

To be on the safe side make sure you have the latest drivers, and check to make sure that you don't need to change the ink.
sometimes things like this happen when the printer registers a wrong ink level.

i guess silly's solution for the above problem is not applicable on fx1170, coz epson stylus series are inkjets that uses ink while fx1170 uses only a ribbon tape which has no ink level indicator at all.

printer is giving H4 error

Sound like you have the printer driver set to Direct Thermal. Change the driver setting to Thermal Transfer and the ink will no longer come out with the label :)

to get printing commond start blicing pause light

Might needs new roller. Your rollers is worn out.

delete printer, reboot computer, re-install driver. you had a software hiccup, like you know!
