Try refrigeratigerating or putting in freezer (cooling 4 degrees centigrade), do not allow excess precipitation to wet the mp4. (under cooler temperatures the media player seems to start up and and appears to function normally). at his point if restarting continues plug into USB port keep MP4 rested on icepack wrapped with a thin cloth to absorb precipitation. USB functionallity at least will be restored.

I have a Jensen mp4 player but i cannot add music to it

Some MP4 players will not add music that is copyrighted if you have not purchased the license to it. Make sure it is a proper format for your MP4 player. If all is going well you should be able to hook a USB cable to your MP4 player and your PC. Make sure your driver is up to date. Open the device up and drag your music/videos to the device till you see a "+" symbol and then release the mouse button and it should download for you. Good luck.

My mp4 won't play videos?

This is either a manufacturers defect with the unit OR you could not have your MP4 files in the proper format. Yes there are different formats of MP4 and it can get really confusing if you don't know which of the formats your player supports. Try getting a list of specs for the player or let me know what the make and model is and i can get them for you

Puting videos on

The Mix Max isn't an MP4 player. It's an MP3/WMA audio player and WMV (Windows Media Video) player. Even if you do put MP4's on the same way you put your music on it won't even know it's there. The videos have to be in WMV format to begin with and then they have to be properly encoded for play on it.

Check out #7 at http://digiblue.com/customer-service/faqs/disney/mixmax/index.html
It has a PDF download with instructions on how to properly encode videos so that they will play on the Mix Max.
