2410 photosmart all in one printer doesn't print or copy
Recently my printer stopped working. The error message says to check the right ink cartridge as it is loaded incorrectly. I have done this repeatedly and even changed the cartridge. It still doesn't work. when the printer realigns itself, nothing prints, not even from the color cartridge. Is there another part that could need replacing?

HP no longer provides support for drivers for this printer. The newer Windows OS will support the printer natively, but sometimes it requires a little finesse from the user. Here is a link to an HP forum where folks tell how they worked out the communications issue for the print and scanning functions. Hope this helps! adding hp psc 2410 printer to windows 7
Try to check the Print Cartridges if they still have ink in them. or try to do a Semi-Full Reset.
combo would be:
- "print photo" + "red eye removal" buttons pressed together
- printer will not ask you to enter the combo
- release the buttons you pressed then
- press "red eye", "print photo", "red eye" in sequence
- scroll down or right until you find resets menu
- press ok
- scroll down or right until you find semi-full reset
- press ok
- your printer should turn off, wait for 3 minutes before turning the printer back on
I removed the black ink cartridge that was REFILLED at a popular retail outfit and replaced it with a remanufactured one I bought on the web. As soon as I closed the lid, the flashing stopped and it has been working GREAT ever since. Many postings had already recommended the changing to a "new cartridge" to remedy this flashing lights and "pen failure."
Remove the right cartridge and check if the spring on the right came loose. When it pops out of position it tears a hole in the ribbon cable at the back of the holder and then you need a new printer. If you can find a carriage assembly it's over $200.00.
Check to make sure your PSC 2410 is in fact the default printer. If it is, make sure your cable is firmly plugged in to your printer and CPU. Clear the print queue. Turn off and restart printer. I have found that your problem is basically a communication problem between the computer and printer. Also check www.hp.com. Good luck.
u have to check the ink catridges(black and colour) in the printer whether the ink is full ,bcos if the ink is low this problem arise check if the printing page is un single colour if it is then ink is a problem
