Question about Jensen 200W AM/FM/CD Car Receiver - CD4610
The unit functions normally, except if I set the clock, or set radio station presets, the unit has no memory of them once it is turned off then on again. I have checked the wire connections and they all seem to be good. Is there something else that could be wrong with the unit?
I'm not sure if car radios have internal batteries, but that's what keeps preset memory on home radios. In any case, preset memory requires a small continous electric current, and if there is none coming into the radio then when you switch the car off it will reset. Hope you find something along that line
