Question about HP OfficeJet G85 All-In-One InkJet Printer
My normal usage is black printing and over time the color cartridge fails. I use only new HP cartridges. Is there a way to set the printer to ignore the color cartridge?
No, I've never found one. HP wants you to buy those expensive cartridges. However, you can just leave the empty color in place and ignore the message. It will not print at all without a cartridge in it. When you print black, make sure you set it in your printer options to print from the black cartridge only (there are blacks that use some color in them). Or you can get a black only printer. Hope that helps. If so, would you rate this solution? Thanks!
