Well i dont use nokia but is not the fault of model that u braught ,the solution of ur problem is that in ur mobile u will find option called as network selection ,there select automatic network .ELSE
refer ur user manual .ELSE change the antena of ur mobile.

This usually indicates that your Mobile phone provider does not have a network coverage in your area (note: in Country areas, limited network coverage is usually from Vodafone, 3 or Optus). To be on the safe side, make sure that you allow both 2G and 3G network access as 3G access is usually limited to larger cities/towns.
Check with your Mobile phone provider for both 2G and 3G coverage in your area.
Emergency calls are allowed from any Network even if your provider does not service a specific area.
when a phone is showing no network coverage, there are possible ways you could look into,
Network setting in the phone. Re-formatting the phone or flashing it. Hardware repair.
In your phone you can check the network setting on your phone if it has been tampered with you so can easily reset it.
Some times when a phone drops in water or on the flow, and after then was not serviced might cause the network reception to fluctuate .Some application downloads,Dirts or malfunction of the phone can also cause a phone s network to disappear.
