You need to go in the Sound setting control panel and disable the sensing - or enable the front connectors permanently, depending on what sound chip you have.

I have an xw9400 board on a normal case, after connecting usb on board with the front panel, board still cant recognize front USB,i need to change wires in the connector to match the board, same thing with...

The front USB header on the XW9400 board has a ground connected to pin #10. The USB standard #10 pin has nothing connected to it, so HP uses it to sense whether a connector is attached to the header.

Not audio from de front , went i plug audifon fron the fron theres no audio

That's cause the front audio connectors are not connected.. To do this open up the tower.. Now locate the wires from the front connector.. Its labled j audio.. Now on the main board there is a jack for it,, some pins labled audio as well if its not labled then look for the pins in the same fashion of the jack.. If u see some plastic jumpers bridiging 2 pins remove it.. Plug in your front audio connector.. That's it your done..

Hi i have a problem connecting the front pannel mic and standard audio connections to my winfast k8m890m2ma motherboard the manual shows where the 8 pin "front audio connector" is like this...

It is a bit of a problem when you have single connectors but here goes. You use the Front Audio connectors. The manual says you have :::.:
If you turn the board round until the dots are the same way round as above. Working from left to right.
Bottom row. MicIn, MicBios, SpkoutR, empty,SpkoutL
Top row GND, empty, returnR, blank space, returnL. Now this is the tricky bit. Try the power if it works OK. Because the board and the case manufacturer work to different descriptions, try this as an alternative. You may have to swap over the two connectors for GND and Mic Bios.

Audio outputs doesn't working

It sounds like a motherboard sound chip failure, although run a diagnostics on the sound, click Start>run, then type 'dxdiag', hit 'Enter' and run sound driver test. If it has failed, you can purchase a cheap PCI slot souncard and dissable your onboard sound, or a complete new motherboard.
