Hi

This type of Access Violation error can have many causes, but it normally happens after Windows has already loaded and the user tries to open or close a corrupted program, whereas your question seems to suggest that it happens before Windows boots.

You do not say which operating system you are using.

If you occsionally get an Error message on a Blue Screen background, then read through the message carefully and it will explain what the likely cause is and waht the likely remedies are.

Youe either have a corruption of your operating system, a hardware failure or a Virus or Spyware infection.

If you can Boot into Safe Mode, you can try and identify the error more precisely there and/or download malwarebytes (www.malwarebytes.org) and run a scan to purge any spyware with it.

Get some additional insight to this Error Code here:

Please feel free to post again or add a comment to your original question to give more detail and you will get more precise advice.

I hope this helps.

I'm running a Windows 7 netbook- acer aspire one. 32 bit Prossesor- Intel Atom BOOTING ERROR- I press power and the ACER logo pops up (normal) and then: For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller...

This message means that the computer cannot see the hard drive. Unofrtunately, this is usually caused by a failed Hard Disk drive. However, you could try removing and re-fitting the hard drive to see if this cures the problem.

Full instructions on removing and replacing the hard drive can be found here:

I'm am trying to play age of mythology and after the movie ends, error appears and states "initialization failed".

Initialization failed

This means that the game is attempting to initialize hardware such as the video card but has failed

This can be caused by a number of factors.

1. Your hardware does not meet the games hardware requirements
2. Your hardware requires farther configuration to run the game properly

if you are certan that the game supports your hardware you may need to perform
some extra steps to get your game working

"Failed to initialize" is an incomplete error message because it does not tell you what exactly failed
a more complete error message would read "Failed to initialize the video subsystem" and then it would give an error code such as Error Code xxx telling you exactly what error code to look up
to determine what exactly failed.

Most of the time when a game says ( failed to initialize ) that means a video issue
this may mean missing files or wrong versions of files or incompatable hardware.

DELL LATITUDE 610 WILL NOT BOOT

then if i may ask what operating system are you using with yourn system before if you are sure of the kind of operating system you are using then you would have to format your system so that it wouldnt sees that error anymore and will initialize well and boot well then first of all save your document on a USB or anywhere save to backup your file then find a window xp original cd and format your system then reinstall your application and driver then if it repeats then rewrite to me have a nice day .

Acer Aspire 5100 will not log on

If you have a Finger Print scanner (on select models), it may have failed, if you do not have this device , you may have installed malware - try rebooting and after you see the Acer screen start tapping F8 to get to speacial boot menu - choose Safe Mode and see if you can log in. If still unable, you will have to perform a system recovery - Acer provides an alternate way to recover - when you start the computer you see the Acer logo screen - after this displays hold down the Alt Key by the spacebar and tap the F10 key at the top of the keyboard once or twice - this will start the Acer E-Recovery program - follow the on screen instructions.
