My DVD rom/CD writer will no longer write
A few weeks ago i had to uninstall Tiscali, i think i must have allowed part of a programme delete which was needed for the DVDrom/CD re-writer as it will no longer write to a CD.
I get a message that it is a read only rom.
I can play videos and my photo CD's OK.
Please can you help.

- My HP Pavilion Notebook lno longer will write to a disc. Software discs were lost in hurricane Katrina (along with myhome) so I can not reload necessary software.- Guest
