My hoover optima washing machine is tripping my electricity supply. Have tried disconnecting heating element and looking for damaged wires.

Ian if the circuit breaker is a rcd it will trip off the supply if it
normally detects a very small leakage or unbalance of around 35 m /amps this could be a small water leak onto live parts in the machine or a minute short to earth on one component ,make sure all parts are dry / is it tripping when you switch power on to machine or does it trip when machine is in cycle mode.
1. its as first suggestion 2. it's a component like pump or drive motor that;s causing problem. hope this is of some help,g.luck

Error code 6 quick flashes then 6 longer flashes

I am assuming your rcd is the main one in the house .
If it is tripping there is an earth fault in one of the major components of the machine.
It is unlikely to be a controller or sensor as they are generaly isolated from the the mains.
For the controller to cause an earth fault it would have to be soaked and you would notice water comming out of the machine in that case.

HOOVER HNF 7147. BLOWS THE HOUSE RCD ONLY WHEN ON A WASH CYCLE AND NO WATER BEING FED INTO DRUM. I SUSPECT THE HEATING ELEMENT IS DRAWING TOO MUCH DUE TO NO WATER IN THE DRUM. BOTH INLET VALVES ARE OK AS I...

You need to check the circuit in the wash cycle. Disconnect the power to the heater coils and see if the fuse trips. Also the voltage at inlet solenoid must be checked when the program cycle is on the wash , is not the program controller board is fault, possible a wrong output from the processor.
You can isolate the circuits, the heater, the motor drive to see if the trip stays. Also check the inlet and the drain pump on a test bench to confirm the working of the valve which will infer the case.

Condensation builds up inside machine during cycle and trips out the electric

i cant see condensation being the problem. as washers are designed to withhold this factor i belive there is an earthing problem or/ pos/neg leak causing the washer to trip the rcd. have it looked at by a service tech

Machine partially fills and then stops working.

THE RCD SWITCH is concealed on the inner side of the hindges of the door or on the top innerside of the door. it is a simple push switch which has a mechanism of push to on/off
this switch has got stuck in off position.
change this switch or spray a drop of rust removal oil. it will start functioning
