Question about Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition 2005 (M9300091SINGLE)
When I tried to playback recorded TV on my new GT5032 Gateway computer dual processor, AMD #20fb1, 2200 Mhz, running XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2, the video keeps freezing up. I have to hit replay or skip to get the video to resume, and then it will freeze up again within a minute or two. I have run the Media Center optimization program, but to no avail. The problem seems to be getting worse. Fred
Some possible causes can be system heat causing the video card to freeze. Sometimes it can also be related to the video driver or MPEG2 decoder. Make sure to use the right decoder and filter for the video playback.
