Actually, it does not matter what mode your printer is on when printing from your computer. Whenever your printer detects a print job sent to it, the printer will automatically acknowledge the signal and print the file - no matter if it's on Copy, Scan or Fax Mode.

My printer is intermec PF8T i have i SAP program to print patient information but it cannot print the error is orange ligths was the error.

There are a few things to figure out here from a SAP basis administrator perspective these steps are common. Also I am just trying to help and with SAP there could be multiple solutions. Good luck.

Check SAP MarketPlace for SAP note: 1557674

Here are the steps taken from the SAP Community Network which might help. I would suggest reading the entire link as its informative. http://scn.sap.com/thread/1975158

click on Display now you will be in Spool Administration window
click on Change button then Create tab will be appear, now you have to put the following information.
Under DeviceAttributees

(1) Choose "S: Print Using SAP Protocol" if a print server with SAPlpd or SAPsprint is used to print barcodes.
(2) Choose "F: Printing on Frontend Computer" if SAPlpd and SAP GUI are used together to print barcodes, SAP GUI sends print job to SAPlpd, SAPlpd is started automatically and forwards the print data stream to the Windows print manager.
(3) Choose "G: Frontend Printing with Control Tech", only SAP GUI is involved in printing barcodes, SAPlpd is not used.

In test mode the print is fine, when we put the printer in print mode there is a problem.

Will it still print what you want it to print if it's in test mode? If so, then I would just leave it in test mode.

Hi, i have a TLP 2844 printer Thermal, but i cant print labels. I have read the manual and follow the instructions. Every time i put labels on the printer, only send me blanks. Can you help me, please

Are you trying to print in thermal or thermal transfer mode? If thermal transfer mode, do you have the ribbon install correctly with the coated side facing towards the label? If using thermal mode, are you using thermal paper and are you trying to print on the coated side? Hold the feed button down and turn the printer on. Hold it down until the light stops flashing. At this point the printer will print a diagnostic dump. If nothing prints then either you have the media loaded wrong or something else is wrong with the printer.

Zebra 4 Plus pause botton shows a fast blink when using take-up mode. have to push in peel lever to get it to print. Please help

Are you sure you are not in peel off mode? It is waiting for a sensor change. When you push the lever, you may have triggered this and allow it to print another label. Put the printer in Rewind mode or something else and see if it changes for you.

Zebra LP2824 not printing

Sounds like you put your printer into line mode. Line mode prints code so you can see what is sent to the printer to look for possible mistakes in the code.

To switch from line mode back to page mode.
  1. Turn printer off.
  2. Press and hold the feed button down. And switch printer on.
  3. Release the feed button when the LED flashes red.
  4. When the LED flashes green, press down the feed button.
  5. When the LED flashes amber release the feed button.
  6. Try printing now that the printer is back in page mode which is used for print your labels; line mode prints the labels code.
  7. Do this fast or else it wont work if you are slow.
