Question about Canon EOS Rebel G 35mm SLR Camera

Half of my photo's are black

I cannot figure out why half of my photos come out black. I keep it on the auto setting and have had 2 or more rolls of perfect outdoor pics. Unfortunatley, though, my most recent pics have been a dissappointment. Any ideas?

This is a 10mm camera right?
Then the reason is roll has been exposed to light at some point.
check your lab, they have exposed it to light, but if it happens again using a differnent lab then your camera is letting light on one side.

How do I delete photos off the camera roll without deleteing them off the album

There are two methods to delete photos from iPad Camera Roll:
1. Import the Camera Roll to your computer, choosing to delete photos after import.
2. Delete photos from your iPad manually. Open the Photos application, open the Camera Roll, tap the Action button, tap each photo to select it, and tap the Delete button.
Note: For photos you want to save for later, import them to your computer before deleting them from the Camera Roll.

Problem with printing black and white photos

Probably what happen is that you are printing black and white but you have your printer on color mode, try to set the printer to grayscale or black and white before print. The printer is tring to get the black and white by mixing all three color, that is the most comon way of make black, so, when one of the color is missing you see those red lines.
Also you will solve the problem replacing the color cartridge.

Dark picture at night when using falsh

It could be 1 of 3 issues:-

1) You have to be within about 2 metres of the subject, press the photo button half way and then pause for a half second to allow the camera to measure distance and light, then continue until the photo is taken.

2) Make sure all your settings are on Auto and try again. It may be currently set to a specific scene setting which is distorting your photos.

3) It may require a firmware upgrade. That will involve going to the Sony website, following links to support/downloads and checking to see if there's an update for your camera.

Front windows don't roll down

Yes, the power window switch is often faulty, because there is some sensitive electronic making that "auto rolled down".
The 4x-switch is quite expensive, 260EUR =(
So, I make some new connection. The faulty electronic is only for front windows, so now I connect wires so that I can use front windows with read window switch.
(Rear windows is still working by those 2xback window switch) which is located between seats.

Here is the conncection, at one's own risk.

That 4x-window switch has 14-pins connector:
Connect the back windows wires 8(blue/white), 9(red/black), 1 (grey/blac ), 2 t(green/white) to the ground wire 4 (black).

Front windows wires
14(blue)->8
13(white)->9
3(white/violet)->2
7(black/blue)->1

If the manufacturer didn't use that "auto rolled down" function, there is no worries of power windows.

Also illumination of 4x-switch goes down quite soon, leds will be better. Here is a photo if you like replace bulbs to leds:

Not good photos indoors very grainy and bad light looking photos

Auto mode in poor lighting (generally always indoors without flash) sets high ISO, which produces ugly amount of noise (graininess). What you need is to keep the ISO under 200 by either:
Shooting well lit scenes, using flash etc.
or
Uusing one of the manual programs (M, S, A, P) and setting the sensitivity via the F-menu.

What do i need to do to delete the iphone photos ?

2 ways:

1. When you click "import photos" while syncing your iPhone it asks you if you want to keep the originals or delete them (meaning on the iPhone). Just click delete originals

2. Go into your iPhone and clear all photos.

Photo ink 58 do i put it on the right side and what other ink cartridge do i need to use

Normally, you keep the regular tri-color cartridge in the place it already was.. You should be taking the black cartridge OUT and putting the 58 Photo cartridge in...

FYI.. the 58 photo cartridge provides you with LIGHT magenta, LIGHT Cyan and a PHOTO Black -- which are supposed to give you truer tones and 'half-tones' for shades and nuances in color (like different grades of blue in the sky). The Photo black helps the photo not look "green" on black areas when there is a reflection on the photo... (with regular ink, when you get a reflection off of the shiny paper you often see a green-ish like color and it looks rather odd... the photo black stops that.)
