Possible causes:
Clogged fuel filter Low fuel pump pressure
Defective Catalytic converter Defective EGR valve
Incorrect fuel pinched/kinked fuel line

This one sounds like you might have a bearing out or both on the back wheels. I would start there then move to the drive shaft an check the joints.

If it is burning oil, as in blue smoke out the exhaust then changes are you have top end damage such as failed piston rings which is preventing the car from developing proper compression.

When the light is flashing its indicating a problem that can cause more severe problems and should be diagnosed as soon as possible From what youve indicated it may be a misfire code which will cause catalytic converter problems

On acceration truck cuts out and loses power

check fuel pressure should be about 4-7 psi remove fuel line at fuel pump the one going back to the tank remove fuel cap and blow compressed are through the fuel line back to the tank to elimnate any blockages see how u go
