Having problems setting up my email on my pda P168

if you have a Google Mail etc e-mail account already then take note of details
Name:
Address:
Password:
and less important
Description:

Name: = descriptive name for yourself such as 'my e-mail'
Address: = the actuall e-mail address you signed up for 'example'@googlemail.com
Password: = password you chose on sign up
Description: = my google account for example

on iphones home screen click settings icon then scroll down to
Mail, Contacts, Calendars
and if neccessary click Add Account. you are shown a screen full of e-mail account providers and if yours is there (google mail for this example) click it else click 'other' at the bottom of the screen.

Enter your details as described above in the relevant fields and click save. The phone should then do a check and retrieve the required settings from google mail and show a tick mark beside each feild to say successful you will then have your e-mail account set-up

I used yahoo mail after going online from my pc and setting up a new account it was free and very painless to set up in the phone..

I had no problem using yahoo in iphone 2G but then my work email server was changed from mail.domain.com to imap.domain.com. After that I cannot set up my yahoo email in iphone. I have already spent several hours. I keep on getting error: imap.apple.yahoo.com cannot verify.

I have no idea what I should do to bring back yahoo in my iphone.
I did everything possible. I don't have problem with gmail account. I don't have problem with my work email BUT only yahoo is not working. I wanted to forward yahoo email to my gmail and never use yahoo in my iphone but without paying money yahoo would not forward emails. Mail forward option is not there in general mail option. I have to have Mail Plus. If I was to pay $19.95 to yahoo, I would rather stop using yahoo at all and be happy with gmail and others.

Before I say goodbye to yahoo forever (because I am pished off at yahoo for their catch) any suggestion??
