Hmph. Sounds like a boot issue. But for my standards, I write myself a checklist. I do this in order to keep track of all possible solutions. My Dell Optiplex GX280 can be a real pain. . I start with the way I am turning it on. Sometimes a system can be as finiky as a cat. Unplug the system from the wall. Then plug it back in. If it is on a shield wall jack that has a switch, if it is off, turn it on. from there. First, (when, and if it comes up), check through your boot system prompt. This usually takes the form of F2,or F1. If your system displays (cannot find harddrive), or shows a problem with the amount of space on your harddrive, make sure that you have backed up all your files before going any further. Also, check to see if your harddrive OS can find the correct place where your SYSTEM is located can find your system boot by selecting AUTO for your harddrive(s). It make it easier for your computer to find the OS system in which to bring your computer online. Second. Typically, (and depending upon your space on your harddrive), they tend to short you on your drive space. This will trigger your drive to shutdown, because it has run out of useable, writeable space. ALWAYS HAVE A BACKUP. If you can get into the actual BIOS, check and see if you have exceeded the harddrive space. Third. CLEAN OUT YOUR SYSTEM. Dust can cause havoc with your computer. Fourth. Check all your connections. Make sure that all your lines leading to your hardrive(s) are connected. Five. It is possible to have a hardrive failure. See if you can take it to a computer shop that you can trust to either retrieve the information on your harddrive, or install a new harddrive, and all of its drivers that prompt your programs to work.Six. TAKE PICTURES OF THE INSIDE OF YOUR COMPUTER. There are shops out there that will take out parts, and repackage them. Seven. Check your VIDEO CARD, as well as your wires. EITHER may need replacing.I hope this information is helpful, and can get your computer up, and running. :))

My pc dont show any thing axcept blank display with i tried to change graphics

Maybe one of your memory chips is bad.

If it seems to boot up all the way except the display is blank try the steps below:

Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed monitor display the desktop then the original monitor is bad, but the video card inside the computer is ok. If the Borrowed monitor does not display then the video card inside the computer is bad.

If it does not seem to boot up all the way try the steps below.

When you plug in the power cord is there any lights whatsoever on the laptop, where the plug goes in or on the AC Adapter of the power cord?

When you press the power button do you hear fans running, hard drive spinning, lights on the computer, hear any beeps or lights constantly blinking, hear the DvD/CD drive click and the light on the drawer of the DvD/CD turn on for a second or two? If so the computer is trying to boot or may have booted, but the screen is not showing for some reason.

Beep tones and blinking lights tells the technicians what is going on with the laptop and why it is not booting. Most times it's a motherboard issue when you hear beeps or blinking lights continuous. Most times the problem is with the memory or Video Card. Count the Blinking Lights or Beeps and take note of their pattern (1 Long or 1 Long followed by 2 Short).

Maybe you have a Static Charge Buildup. Remove the Power Cord, then Press and Hold the power button for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds plug the power cord back in and hit the power button to see if it boots.

Maybe your memory is bad or the memory slot is bad.

Remove the Power Cord, Open the Case and remove one of the memory chips. Set the chip aside then try rebooting the computer. If it boots, then you know the memory chip you set aside is bad so mark an x on it with an ink pen. If it fails to boot then move the chip to the next memory slot and try rebooting. If it fails take the chip out and set it aside, then put the other chip in and try booting it in both slots. If it boots, just to verify that the chip set aside is bad, mark an x on it and put it into the open memory chip slot and try booting.

Asus p5lp-le no display

If it seems like the computer completed the boot process but the screen is blank, try the steps below.

The problem will either be the monitor or the video card inside the computer. Connect another monitor to the computer to isolate the problem. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed monitor displays and works ok, then your original monitor is bad and the video card is good. If the Borrowed monitor does not work then the video card inside the computer is bad.

If the computer did not complete the boot process then try the steps below.

No beep sound, orange ligth remian on does not go off dell optiplex 360

Believe it or not it is probably your Power Supply. Just because it lights makes the system lights up does not mean it is working properly. Sometimes it has enough power to make the light glow, but not enough power to make the fan in the power supply start or any other functions.

You can also try the things below to see if they work, if not replace the power supply.

When you plug in the power cord is there any lightswhatsoever on the computer?

When you press the power button do you hear fans running, hard drive spinning, lights on the computer, hear any beeps or lights constantly blinking, hear theDvD/CD drive click and the light on the drawer of the DvD/CD turn on for asecond or two? Most times the problem is with the Memory or Video Card when you hear beep tones or blinking lights. Notice the pattern of the lights and blinks. Do you get 1 Long Blink or Beep? Maybe you get 1 Long followed by 2 Short Blinks or Beeps.

Maybe your power cord is bad if you don't get anything to happen whatsoever when you press the power button.

Maybe you have a Static Charge Buildup. Remove the Power Cord, then Press and Hold the power button for 30seconds. After 30 seconds plug the power cord back in and hit the power button to see if it boots.

Memory Chip might be bad.
Remove the Power Cord, Open the Case and remove one of the memory chips. Set the chip aside then try rebooting the computer. When i turned on switch dell vostro 230 it give no display and led colour is red

No Display, so does it seem like the computer booted up and is running except that the Display is black? Do you hear fans running, disk drive spinning, blinking lights or beeps?

I'm going to assume that in your case since you mentioned a red light that it is not booting up all the way. Therefore your problem is probably with the memory, the video card or some other motherboard issue.

Remove the Power Cord, Remove the Battery, Remove the cover that houses the memory on the bottom of the laptop then remove one of thememory chips. Set the chip aside then try rebooting the computer. If it boots, then you know the memory chip you set aside is bad so mark an x onit with an ink pen. If it fails to boot then move the chip to the nextmemory slot and try rebooting. If it fails take the chip out and set itaside, then put the other chip in and try booting it in both slots. If itboots, just to verify that the chip set aside is bad, mark an x on it and putit into the open memory chip slot and try booting.
