save it on your desktop first then once the download is finished it'll ask you to Unzip. Press the unzip button.

After the extraction, the setup / installation should automatically run (give it a maximum of 3 mins.)

If it doesn't run, check your Security Software, it might be preventing it to run.

I cannot run the driver (HP officejet 9110) for window XP . I downloaded and tried to install but there was no EXE. file. I tried to unzip, too.

Most drivers for printers are just code on a note pad page, when you click on add printers, you choose the make and model and sometimes windows has the driver built into, if dosent click on have disk tab and browse to the driver you downloaded, it should pick it up and install it. If it is a zip or rar file you might have to unzip to a new folder on the desktop. if it dosent unzip then it may be a corrupt file. hope this helps.

if it is just with that one application ,then try a different driver.sometimes there are backward compatibility issues and PCL6 is a newer and more radical language.all it is ,is installing one of the other drivers.a PCL5e driver is usually most stable.otherwise try just a regular PCL5 can download them from this link(select your operating system) ,then double click it to run it and unzip will unzip usually to a location in local disk c.or in c/program files,(you can type in where you want it to unzip if it will make it easier to find).though some drivers install differently ,you can then open the add printer wizard in the control panel and follow through the steps, and when you get to the manufacturer's page/list,you choose have disk, then "browse", and browse to the location where the driver unzipped to and click on that unzipped driver and it will show up in the browse box, then follow through by clicking "open" ,then "ok",and follow through with the last couple steps.the readme with the the driver files would have instructions for can click on the driver header name before downloading it to learn more about it.

the cold reset should work.when it is powered off and you press the select button and hold it ,then power on and continue to hold it,the led's should flash once quickly, then come on that point release the select button quickly and "select language" then should pop up on the display.then use the arrows to scroll to "cold reset" and hit select again.when the language message comes up,thats how you will know it is ok to that point.after scrolling to "cold reset" and hitting select again,it should then reinitialize the machine.

Can't download driver for HP LaserJet 1005 Printer

Most likely the files have been unzipped to a TEmp folder. You can do a search for these files, or alternately, make a folder on your desktop and change the destination of unzipped files to that folder. You could also try using the 'Classic" view in WinZip..

Well first off, you're going to have to download the Vista drivers for the 2610 from the HP site.

Once you download them, unzip the file (just doulbe click it to unzip) and make note of where it unzipped to (it will say something like C:\drivers\xxxx

The go to your printer window.
Click the "Add printer" and local install. When it asks about drivers (what kind of printer you have) click "Have Disk" and point it at the folder the download unzipped to.

That's about it.

You don't need the install disk.

In some cases, the download file will be a complete install routine. In that case, once you unzip it, sometimes it will go right into the install, in other instances, you have to look at the folder it unzipped to, and look for a setup.exe file
