Hi,

When you start you computer, after the bios flash. press the F8 on your keyboard before the Windows start loading. You should have an option to select to go to safe mode.

Select the safe mode option only. See if it will load the Windows under the safe mode option. If it did load the Windows under safe mode. There is an issue loading the driver of your Windows O.S. that i why its not booting under the Normal mode. Sometimes this is cause also by a Virus on your computer. You can run the Anti-Virus program under Safe mode to check for viruses

To fix this you may need the Original Disc of Windows O.S.
You can reboot the computer. Load the disc make sure that under the Bios option the CD drive is the first boot. Then save it.
after rebooting. Follow the on screen instruction on how to repair the O.S. There should be an option to repair the O.S. when you boot the computer using the Windows O.S. Disc

Note:
If you could do a backup of your files, do it first before repairing the O.S.

If it will not resolve the issue, you will have to reformat your computer.

MUCH MORE sinister than that!

Just kiddin'.

How about posting the model number, so I can give more exacting information, than writing a page filled with generic one-size-fits-all information?

The model number is on the back, next to the Windows product key; or up on the side of the computer tower.

Post back in a Comment.

Windows XP won't load on my emachine t3516

You may need to check to make sure Windows XP was installed properly, if the computer had crashed, you can do a repair, I am a computer technician, and I can tell you, that replacing the power supply will not do that.

My computer i think crashed, i can get on safe mode with networking with limited programs, but when i try to start my computer normally it just goes to a blue screen and wont do anything else..what can i...

Windows crashes because an very important program has been corrupted. The best way to fix that (since you have no idea which program) is to recover your files in Safe Mode then reinstall Windows - and make sure that the normal format option (not the fast one) is selected during process.

My computer displayed; PRI: master disk HDDS.M.A.T Capability disabled NTLDR is missing press Ctrl + Altr + Delete So what can I do?

This means that the Windows has crashed. NTLDR is the program that loads Windows NT. Try rebooting in safe mode. If the problem still persists then reinstall Windows. Follow the link below to save your data and still reinstall Windows.

We are having problems trying to crash our cumputer. The reason is children had downloaded some viruses and we have already did a back up of all good files needed. Now we need to crash it and reinstall...

Why in the world are you trying to crash your computer??? Just download a virus utility, such as Trend Micro or McAffee, and let it deal with the virus. If you are having problems logging in, restart your computer, and after it goes through the BIOS screens, before it brings up the screen that says "Windows XP" with the little progress bar, press F8. Select safe mode with Networking, wait for it to go though all of the MULTIDISK screens, and then download the virus utility. If this doesn't help, please report back and elaborate on everything. What computer you have, what you mean by "crash it" (reformat???), what drivers you need to reinstall... etc...
