Question about DeLonghi Cafe Sorrento Espresso Machine

1 Answer

LCDs flashing and counting up, no other ops avail.

Our sorrento machine just this morning started flashing the LEDs that normally give you the time for your shot and they are counting up to 100 then starting again from zero. The machine is also not letting us pull shots. Have tried turning it off but this did not work.

How about giving the logic board in your machine a nice rest, say overnight. Let it sleep with the plug pulled out until morning. That should clear any logic errors. In the morning...see what happens.

I forgot how to program it . I don't know how to set the clock

Make sure that the machine is plugged in but neither the coffee or espresso side are turned on. Hold the small button on the left under the screen (S1) for at least a 10 count. When you've held it long enough, the time will start flashing. Press S1 again until you have the correct hour. Press S2 to set, and the minutes will start flashing. Press S1 again until the minutes are correct and Press S2 to finalize.

Hope this helps. I almost tore out my hair trying to figure this out.

I just need to know how to make a cappuccino useing my DeLonghi Cafe Sorrento. Thanking you

Cappuccino is a mixture of espresso, a little steamed milk and a little milk foam. The milk/foam ratio is up to you what you enjoy most. Some like a thick layer of foam while others just want foam as a garnish on top. Mix as you please.

My 2006 Bunn blows a fuse when used

This sounds like a short in the main heating element. If you are within your 3 year warranty, Phone Bunn and talk to their warranty department. They will give you a RMA number and give you further instructions. If not, there are no replacement parts available for these brewers.

Rinsing cycle won't START

After all, I turned machine off with power switch, waited 30 seconds and turned it back on. It displayed "RINSING CYCLE" message, but this time went through regular rinsing cycle, then rinsed thoroughly (I counted several cups of water) and RETURNED TO NORMAL.

Halleluiah! Now I can get my morning coffee again!

Just bought a new cuisinart coffee maker and no book came with it. I need to know how to program the coffee maker.

  1. Setting the time
  • When the machine is plugged in, the screen will display 12:00.
  • Press and hold the "HR" and "MIN" button until the numbers flash.
  • Then press the "HR and "MIN" button to scroll through the numbers. When the numbers stop flashing, the time has been set.
CAUTION! When you pass the number 12, the letters "PM" appear to indicate the time between 12 noon and 12 midnight. When these letters do not appear, the time corresponds to the morning hours, from midnight to noon. Always make sure the hour is set according to the correct period so that programming is correct.
  • 2 Programming the start time
  • Press and hold the "PROG" button. The numbers and the indicator light flash.
  • Press "HR" and "MIN" in the same way to set the hour to the desired start time for the cycle. When the numbers stop flashing, the programmed time is set.
CAUTION! Programming the start time is not possible when the coffee maker is running.

Hope this will help you.

Best regards
