The problem you're having can be the result of 2 tings.

1. The drain hole in the drip pan under the unit is clogged. The hole should be located near the rear of
the unit. It can be hard to find at times, as the clog will bled in with the hole.

2. The rear of the unit does not have enough downward tilt. Which allows the collected water to flow to
the drain hole. The general rule of thumb is 1/4" to 1/2" downward tilt at the rear of the unit.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

How do I stop my Air conditioner from throwing a mist inside the room?

Cleaning the air intake filter and the cooling coils will help. But, as long as there is high humidity outside, the unit will continue to mist to some degree.

Goldstar 10000 blows water out front

Two possible problems.
1. High humidity in the space being cooled
2. Drain line that runs from the front (where the water is blowing out) to the back where it is sent to evaporate. Clean out the drain line and condensate pan under the fins where the water is blowing out.

Sounds like fan is hitting water, also throwing off a water mist.

Look outside the unit, unless you are very high in the air and clean out the condensate\water drain hole. You live in a very humid climate, you have to keep that hole clear or water will build up. Some units us a splash system to splash on to the condenser to help cool it.
