Has power but no boot up no display - ASUS M4N68TM Motherboard

Suspect faulty motherboard.

If you can, try connecting an external display to determine whether the system is booting up but you only have a display problem.
If you do have a display problem, shut down and reboot up. When the system starts to boot up, press F8 a few times to get into Advanced Boot Options, then select the Last Known Good Configuration. Then continue booting up.
If this still doesn't fix the display problem, it could be a hardware issue. Your recourse is a warranty fix if possible, and an expensive panel replacement if not.

If it is not a display problem ie nothing shows up in the external display, you could have a bad on-board power unit. Same question - warranty or repair.

Is there any noise when you switching on the machine similar to its ready mode noise,
Check machine by pressing Copy button to make copies if it copying and working means your display only faulty or...
If it is not copying or not working means it has problem in Main board check RAM and Boot Flash Rom
Check Boot Rom correctly may be boot ROM faulty

I had this problem after a power cycle during a cleaning.
Power off the printer. Remove all of the toner and drums. Power on the printer. If it boots insert the drums and toner. This fixed ours.
If that doesn't work follow the procedure in the service manual (available online) to determine if the for matter, low voltage power supply or DC control board are at fault.

Computer does not boot upThe problem maybe the RAM, it is faulty or just needsreseating to make proper electrical contact.
Reseat the RAM and then boot up your laptop. If it still does not boot up thenremove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop andget them to test the RAM for you.

When you press the power button normally the boot options will display on the screen. Most times it is the F12 key to select the boot option. This is a temporary change only good for the current boot cycle.

Also most times the F2 key will get you into the Bios or System Setup where you can change the boot option and make it a permanent change.

Turn the computer off.
Disconnect the AC power supply.
Remove the battery.
Remove the disk-drive.
Reconnect the AC power supply.
Turn the computer on.
Put any "data" disk into the CD-drive.
Does it display the CMOS boot-up display?
Can you hear the PC try to spin that "data" CD, i.e., trying to "boot" from it?
If it works "better" without the disk-drive attached, the disk-drive is the problem.

The motherboard seems OK as it is displaying signs of life. The Monitor should display something before booting up, which it is not.Please do the following. 1. Remove the RAM and reinsert the DIMMs into their sockets and boot up. 2. Disconnect the HDD data cable from the HDD and the motherboard and reconnect. Boot up. 3. Disconnect the monitor and reconnect. Boot up. At boot up press F2 and set the PC to default settings. Boot up. Later when you want to apply your settings, keep noting down what you did when. Just in case.

Hi, Printer Has Blank Display Issue Description: Some customers may report that the control panel display is not working on their LJ2400 Series printer. Most of the units are right out of the box. This goal of this document is to help you troubleshoot the problem and provide a solution for the customer. Symptoms Customers will see: Printer powers on, motor rotation and fan sounds can be heard during boot cycle, but the control panel display is blank and there is no backlight . Troubleshooting requested by engineers: BACKLIGHT PRESENT, BUT NO TEXT DISPLAYS Disconnect all connections to printer except for power cord. Plug power cord directly into wall outlet and power cycle. Can motor rotation sounds be heard? Reseat memory DIMM in slot. Check cable connections on formatter ? particularly control panel power (J4), ECU-Formatter flat ribbon cable (J5), and power from the ECU (J6). NO BACKLIGHT Verify that the engine is powering up when power cycled by listening for motor rotation sounds. Ask the customer to print an engine test page. (See photo below for access to engine test page button.) If engine does NOT print test page, problem is with the engine, not formatter or control panel. (Service required.) Check cable connections on formatter ? particularly control panel power (J4), ECU-Formatter flat ribbon cable (J5), and power from the ECU (J6). Verify boot select jumper on the formatter PCB is installed on the bottom two (correct) pins (see photo below) to ensure the unit ?boots? from the firmware chip on-board the formatter. NOTE: The BOOT SELECT position (top two pins) is only used to boot from a FW-loaded compact flash card. If incorrect, reseat boot select jumper onto the bottom two (correct) pins. Attempt to print a configuration page ? ?back? button (x3, to clear any undisplayed messages) -- check button -- down arrow -- check button -- down arrow -- check button. If configuration page prints, verify contents and, assuming you find nothing wrong with configuration, you may assume that the problem lies with the display portion of the control panel. It is probably under one of the panels on the back of the computer that are held onto the back of the computer with tiny phillips head screws...
