Question about Computers & Internet
My Deskjet F4140 was working fine until I pulled a piece of paper out from the feeder. It stopped, turned itself off, and nothing I've tried will make it come back on ... I tried rebooting by unplugging and plugging it back in, but I'm wondering whether this is strictly a one-way feeder and once it's started it can't tolerate reverse mode. Any thoughts on how I can get it to work again? I just replaced both ink cartridges. HELP!!
Try unplugging your printer from the wall outlet and leaving it that way for ~30min.
If this does no help then it means that a fuse has burnt out somwhere in the device.
Sadly there is no manual on how to disasemble a F4140, plus it would void your waranty.
I suggest you try to return it under waranty, just don't say you don't know why it stopped working ;]
Hope this helps!
