Question about Computers & Internet
My monitor only works for a while before going black.
I got the same problem. There was two capacitors (1000uF/10V and 220uF/25V) on the power module which was dead and a blown 3A fuse. After careful check I found one of the transistors on the inverter circuit was short. There are 4 transistors each in 8 pin SD (SOP-8) packaging with marking 4600 on the 1st line and BD3Z4P on the second. After some searching in internet I realized they are ELM34600AA-S complementary MOSFETs and still can't find a delivery to my town. I believe after MOSFET replacement the monitor will go well.
The transistor was shorted between 3 and 5+6.
Here is the datasheet: http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/308736/ELM-TECH/ELM34600AA-S.html
