Hi there

As far as I know, these label printers do not use ink. it used a technology called heat transfer or something to that effect. In short, the heat generated discolors the label, therefore you can see what it prints. You will only need to get a label refill.

Regards

Andre

How to refill ink cartridges

Patsy, every manufacturer has a different design ink cart, and each one takes a different technique to refill them. I find it is much easier to purchase "refillable" carts, they're designed to be refilled. I buy them from:

Canon pixma mx350 printer ink level shows exclamation mark about the icon

If you are using an ink refill kit (or buying ink that has been refilled, the ink level will not show accurately) also, if refilling yourself you must clean the pint area of the cartridge with alcohol before installation, and then run the 'clean print head' tools from you Canon menus.

I recommend buying Canon ink, at least for 1 in 4 refills to reset your ink levels.

Hi,
by refilling the ink crg. you probably destroy head electronics. Buy new one ORIGINAL, and try then.If you must refill ink be carefull, rather buy new reffiled ink, where the chip is resetted.

Hope that helps!

I just got my ink cartridges refilled and when I put them in my computer says check ink UP051. Even when I took the ink out and tried restarting it, it gave me the same error message.

A number of printers simply will NOT work with "Refilled" ink cartridges. This is because some have a "Chip" inside them that will not allow this to be done. They want you to buy their ink.. and buy a new cartridge each time... SOME places that refill them are able to reset the chip. However "They" have us all by the "Goolies" and as much as you may hate it the best way is to buy a new recommended cartridges. Sux huh?

I've refilled my black ink cartridge #36 and put it into my Lexmark 5650. My computer will not let me print - not even to "complete a page" print. It says that I need more ink. I have windows vistas. What...

Lexmark 36 and 37 cartridges cannot be refilled. When your ink levels drop below a certain point your printer deactivates the electronics on your cartridge so you cannot refill them. I own a Cartridge World ink refilling shop and I sell Lexmark originals for the 36 and 37 because of this reason. Unfortunately you purchased a machine that you have to buy expensive original ink for. You need to buy Lexmark original 36 and 37 to get your printer to work. As a refiller I never recommend someone buy a Lexmark printer if they ever want to use refills.

Dell a940 error code 50c

From doing my research, I have found that the 50C Error message comes from the cartridge, usually if it has been refilled. If this cartridge is new, please return it to the place of purchase for a new one or a refund.

Here's what happens when you refill the Dell Series 2 ink cartridges. There is a sensor in them that cannot be reset.

Dell ink cartridges can only be purchased at Staples, Walmart or Dell's website.

Dell ink cartridges have a sensor that reports the ink level as low once it reaches a certain level. The sensor can not be reset. If you refill an ink cartridge that previously reported low ink, it may print fine, but the sensor will always report low ink. Buying or replacing ink cartridges with new Dell cartridges will resolve the low ink message.

Dell discourages ink refills. Refilling ink may lead to print quality problems, and even eventual hardware problems.

if u have not refilled ur cartridge and u still get this error i suggest u buy a new cartridge.....

good luck

Cannon IP1800 Ink Refill

need to know how to refill the cartridges. I don't see a place to refill them. It is cheaper for me to buy a brand new printer than it is to buy the new cartridges when the ink runs out. Thats crazy.
