Hi

You don't say which operating system you use.

This error message means that part of the program is either corrupt or deleted but the programs shell still remains.

Start by checking if any printer related programs are running in the background (maybe Kodak Update or Monitoring programs). Some programs cannot be deleted while they or part of them is running.

Press and Hold Ctrl + Alt simultaneously with your left hand > press Del with your right hand > release all 3 > (Start) Task Manager > Applications > If any Kodak programs are running click once to highlight them > End Process.

Start > Printers > double click on default printer icon > highlight and cancel any documents pending > apply > ok.

(My) Computer > Local C: > Program Files > right click on the yellow Kodak folder > Delete > Yes to confirm delete > restart PC.

Start > Control panel > Add or remove programs > highlight Kodak program > Remove.

I hope this helps.

Check to see if the required files are present:
  • Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\kodak. Check for 2 folders "kds_aio5000(for AiO 5000 series printers) and kds_aioesp(for ESP series)

KODAK AiO Home Center has encountered a problem

you need to uninstall the software and reinstall it, if you have not tried that. For XP Start-->control panel-->add/remove programme-->look for Kodak Printer software and uninstall it. For Vista Start-->control panel-->programmes and features and uninstall the software. Run the Kodak clear utility from http://unexpectedtwist4u.com/matthew and click on clear utility and you can either run it or save it first and then run it. Make sure to unplug the USB cable after uninstalling the software and reinstall the software from www.kodak.com/go/esp3downloads. Kodak phone support is open from 9 am to 12 midnight EST. Hope that works:)
