I powered on my sanyo zio kyocera phone and almost all of my apps were missing including settings, dialer, and more, I turned my phone off and then back on and it goes to the screen that says cricket and then will not do anything else

Sounds like a virus. You might have to send it to the company.

Choosing Clear all data or Reset device is the same and will return the phone to original factory settings deleting pics, vids, messages, and any downloaded apps.

First, try this:

1. From the main home screen, tap menu
2. Tap Settings, then Privacy
3. Tap Factory data reset
4. Tap Reset phone
5. Enter your unlock pattern if required, then tap Erase everything to confirm

Call the service provider get the reset code and reset it.

You need to reset phone. Hold green,red and volume down at same time with phone off. Make sure that if you have a memory card that you take it out first. This will clear the lock code and reset your phone to factory settings.

sounds like a software problem try hardreseting

1. Power down the phone
2. Hold down the volume up, end key, trackball and send key simultaneously.
3. Phone boots. After it vibrates you let go.
