Either the lens sensor is not seeing the lens at home position, or the lens is not getting there. Also check fuse 303 on the DC board.

Ricoh Aficio SP 4210N- Code SC 543

This is a common error code for Ricoh copiers, Savin and Gestetner copiers that need service. Recently Ricoh has purchased Lanier and now is naming all their new machines Lanier instead of Gestetner, Savin and Ricoh. However, the copier service error codes have remained he same.
When you get this copier printer service code it means the fuser or fixing assembly (same part) has thermistor problem. The copier fuser's thermistors help regulate the temperature of the fuser assembly. The fuser assembly on all copiers including Canon, Kyocera, Ricoh, Sharp and other brands is the part that melts the toner onto the page.
Getting back to the repairing the copier on Ricoh, Savin, Lanier and Gestetner models that have the fuser or fixing code error. The majority of the time the fusers' thermistors (Middle and read) need to be replaced. Just cleaning them will not solve the copier repair service code.
It is usually, depending upon the machine, its a 1 to 2 hour copier repair job because the copier repair service technician will need to dissemble the fuser, insert the two new thermistors, re-assemble, reset the error code and test the copier machine repair. Also, ask the copier technicians to to do a copier cleaning maintenance while on site.

I have a ricoh ft5535 photocopier.. the problem is when the copy come out i has two line on both side left and right... i want to reset my machine to factory default setting... somebody help me... plesae

This is not related to factory settings. This have everything to do with general service and consumables, so do optical cleanup and replace drum, cleaner blade, fuser rollers and corona wires.Developer must be adjusted by sim 65 then you can do exposure setting with sim 48.

I have a ricoh ft5535 copier. When I click copy the display panel reads, "misfeed remains inside" and the area "A" light comes on. There is no paper in the machine anywhere.

This alert can result from the smallest portion of a paper misfeed. Open all doors and look into each roller corner for a piece of paper that may have been jarred into a corner.

I have understood so that beside you stick the paper in enterring трэке. And with hands direct move and with pallet. Then listen. I shall enumerate причичины, but in afterwards check.
1. Vysoh giving roller.
2. The Substrate, which is found under rubber roller or is damaged or disappeared.
3. Misfeed when attempting to make a copy - Ricoh FT5535

If you are a technical person you may want to remove the tray from the machine (pull all the way out, tilt upwards, and pull.) to clean the rollers. Once the trays are removed you will see a set of three rollers for each tray. They can be removed and cleaned or cleaned directly on the machine. They may have build up dust on them preventing feed. Reinstall the trays the same way they came out but in reverse steps.

Then:

1. Pull offending tray all the way out and remove paper.
2. Unlock the side guides and make sure they move freely
3. Set about 100 sheets of NEW paper for now and adjust the side guides and the end fence. The end fence must be against the paper (touching) and the side guides must NOT be too tight agains the paper as this will prevent the tray from lifting.
4. Make sure the paper size dial is set to the paper SIZE and ORIENTATION.
5. Close tray and test.

Let us know what happens. In the worst case it could be a Magnetic clutch malfunction

Fuser error.....Either blown fuse, bad thermistor, or blown lamp. Problem needs to be repaired, and then a WAY over complicated reset procedure has to be performed in service mode to clear the error.
