Re: Can?t transfer files using the Creative Media Source...

Uninstall everything from your PC, reboot, reinstall driver and the Explorer (I do not use MediaSource, only the Explorer). If it didn't work out follow these steps: 1. Uninstall Creative Media Source and all related software. 2. Install the driver. In the installation CD the driver is usually in \Drivers\English 3. Turn on the Nomad an connect it to the PC. 4. Install MediaSource(the program requires that you have the nomad connected while installing) 5. Install MediaSource plugin 6. Try transferring files. If you?re still running into problem know that there are other programs capable of handling MediaSource?s functions, such as - Portable Audio Devices Power Toy , NomadSync, Real player, and there?s also a Zen plugin for the Winamp. Good luck!

Re: Can?t transfer files using the Creative Media Source...

Im not eglish talker but well..
I had the same problem, i bougth the nomad 4 or 5 years ago.
The past year i bougth zen V too
I instaled the zen v software and the problems start.
But i fixed it doing the folow steps.
Try doing that:
download nomad jukebox driver, the last version, on creative web page.
Connect the nomad jukebox at pc
Then, go to mediasource organizer and look for the help, on menu
try with update software and folow its steps
And eureka, your nomad jukebox and your zen or another creative mp3 player is recongize.
The software installs the plugin that media source needs to work with zen V and the jukebox i fixed that yesterday.

I hope this can help u.. and if it work try to put the solution in a good english.

How do i put movies on my creative zen?

Install Creative Mediasource Organizer. Locate videofiles through this and transfer. You will be told if the file is supported or not. If not, you can encode it so it will work.

Transferring music from pc to mass storage device.

You said that you checkd the properties of all the 150 tracks right.

150 tracks is 560 MB.

The error message you are getting informs that there is nothing wrong with the player or something.

This eror rfers that the source file cannot be located by the system to transfer or the source file is corrupted.

Try the other source file.

Try transferring the other newly downloaded file.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck.

Can't transfer data files

I called Sansa and I was instructed to format my player. The steps were as follows:
1)Connect player to computer
2)Go to my computer and right click on your player
3) Click format on the menu

This will start the formatting of the player. After this I was fine. This is the 2nd time I have had to do this in a year and all I put on this player are books.

******Please Note**** This process will erase any files you have on your mp3 player.

Creative zen micro doesn't show so I can transfer

1. remove all creative software from your pc (do this from start menu/settings/control panel/add or remove programs)
2. Uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and Windows Media Player 11 runtime. This will rollback the pc to an earlier version of WMP.
3. Download the latest version of the zen driver from this location:
4. Make sure the zen is not connected to the pc and install run the exe file to install the software on your pc. at some point, the install will tell you that the unit is not connected. Connect the unit to proceed. it will also notify you that you are replacing an existing software, or something to that effect. I accepted or said OK to this popup. Once the firmware is installed, my started to work fine. You can now reinstall WMP from microsoft website. Hope this works for you.

you might want to verify that your new player has the latest firmware available, as this might address the unresponsive-button issue you're having. Firmware updates are surprisingly easy - you just download the firmware file from Creative's website, plug in your player, and double-click the downloaded file. It's that easy.

Fill system error in muvo v 200 usb

It can also be caused by transferring DRM (Digital Rights Management) encoded media files via the drag and drop method. It is recommended that you use the drag and drop method to transfer audio files that are not encoded with DRM. If in doubt, use either Creative MediaSource Organizer or Windows Media Player to transfer your files.
To resolve this difficulty, we recommend that you format the player and transfer the content again. You can also download and install the latest firmware, and select the Format Data Area option during firmware update.
To format a MuVo player, connect it to a USB port on your PC. Open the Windows Explorer, and locate the Removable Drive listing and right click on it. Select Format, and choose FAT instead of FAT32 or NTFS. After the formatting is complete, make sure that you stop your player before disconnecting it from your PC (see above)
To update or reload the firmware for a MuVo player, select the model of your player from below.,/?St=702,E=0000000000295070241,K=561,Sxi=1,Kb=ww_english_add,VARSET=ws:,Case=obj(4656),Kb=ww_english_add

Cannot move files using the organizer

You can't move the files once you put them on the player. The media explorer part of the software does not allow for moving files. The only way to move them it to delete them and put them back in the new location on the player. The creative software does not work like windows explorer.

Media player will not recognize my 256 tx fm mp3 player

For your MuVO TX FM, there are a couple of other components you should download and install from the Creative download page for this player.

In addition to the latest firmware, which you've already installed, make sure you have the Creative Mass Storage Driver This should allow your computer to communicate with the player.

Also, install the Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer 5.10.38. This should allow you to sync WMA files to your player with the proper licenses.
