I had to take the EXTERNAL speakers off when I moved. Someone else had initially put them on for me. Now that I don't know how to put them back on the INTERNAL speakers don't play either. I have a nice tv with no volume and you are getting a laugh out of it - very funny. Now wise guy, you got any solution or are you just all talk and no action??

From your remarks YOU definitely don't quality as an expert!! Now, that IS funny!! haha

Trinitron KV-27EXR15 speaker settings

If the mute function is set to OFF, there should be sound, as you increase the volume level. If there is no sound, check the speaker and audio output circuits.

Ok so 1 of my kidos has the RCA 20F420T tv, and i guess there is no headphone jack hole, so i went and bought adapter that plugs into the av jacks, still doesnt work can you please help!!!

Without knowing the specifics on this adapter - I can provide only provide some clues as to how this works.

Basically, the A/V jacks on a TV has a "fixed" audio output level - this means that the sound levels on the A/V jacks is NOT controlled by the volume control of the TV itself. You should be able to set the TV volume to minimum and then use the adapter's volume control to make the earphone / headphone sound louder and softer. Your TV however, may have a setting in the menu that can change the audio from "fixed" to "variable". If set to "variable", when turning the volume down for the TV's built in speakers will also turn the volume down on the A/V jacks as well. You do not want this to work like that as the sound in the headphones and the TV speakers will be same - instead of the TV speakers being off and the headphones on.

I hope this helps and good luck! Please rate my reply. Thanks!

No sound from right speaker?

HELLO

I have had this problem myself over the years with Sony sets. There will be a plug with wires that go to the speaker that is affected. It will be dry solder joints on the board where the speaker plug goes to. They need to be re-soldered and do this with BOTH speaker plugs as a precaution.

Also check the connections on the speakers themselves. Always remember if the sound is OK through headphones then it is something simple.

Hope this has helped you (:-)

Tv sound wont work

Make sure that all scarts and sockets are plugged in tightly. Try different inputs, try connecting a DVD player or another piece of equipment to the sockets in turn. Also, if you`ve got a sky box, remove the scart plugs one at a time and reconnect it immediately so that you know where you took it from. Check if there`s a switch on the back for external speakers, Make sure it`s switched to internal. Some of the TV`s have the switch for internal and external speakers in the menu`s. Make sure that any switches whether mechanical or electronic are switched to internal. Ian

Speaker is off on television

I have an older Mitsubishi, don't know the model ## but this solved my problem of "speaker off" without using a remote. First, on my tv when I would press the volume button up or down the sign "speaker off" would show up on the screen. Before this sign goes off of the screen press the "adjust button" up or down until you have the result that you want. I hope that this helps!!
