Question about HP PSC 2110 Color Printer
When I saw your chat go through, I knew that I was not prepared at that time to sufficiently help you address your issues - despite my numerous years (20+/-) of experience with HP equipment - primarily because my personal experience with both of these topics was fairly limited. I have not personally experienced issues with the particular driver mentioned, and my issues with java have been less complex.
However, perhaps for these reasons, as strengthened by my unique involvement with the HP brand, I was intrigued by these issues - enough that I spent a great deal of time researching both matters. [Please note that I refer to both matters, because they are two separate issues. The fact that they have both happened to appear at about the same time, if this is the case, appears to be relatively unrelated.]
As I recall, this was the problem submitted to a live chat session. This may be incorrect, but it seems very similar. It appears, as the issues have continued to be posted, that the problems you had have not been resolved. Therefore, I would like to share with you the results of my research, and I hope, serve as an effective vehicle to facilitate actual resolution of your issues.
I do not know, even with review of your numerous postings, what operating system and other equipment you are utilizing. However, I believe this may come into play only at certain times in selecting the appropriate download or the proper procedure for altering a setting within your system. Within my further responses, which you will find associated with the relevant posts (in order to attempt to clarify the issues and prevent confusion), you will see that I have generally assumed (?!) that you are running an XP OS. This decision was based primarily on the timing of release for the product you have indicated is at issue, and the inherent issues of the problems themselves.
Finally, it appears that the message received in regard to the driver is as stated; however, I believe that the actual message you have seen in regard to java, at the end, reads "Class not registered" as opposed to "Class not negotiated". Thank you for your consideration of these matters, and I trust that you will find this information helpful, and that your issues will be resolved. Please rest assured that I will work with you until the problems are handled, and we have reached a "FixYa" level of service...

If trying to Print in Word 2003 - 2002 - 2002
Click on tools > options > Print tab > Uncheck Back Ground Printing. Click on ok. Try Printing.
If you are trying to Print from Word 2007.
Click on Office button > Word options > Advanced > Locate Print options and uncheck Backgound Printing click on ok. try Printing
