Only a 4GB Micro SD works with this phone. I first tried a 16GB and it didn't register at all, but the 4 does. By the way, finding the Micro SD slot is also hard to find at first. It's located under the battery.
I don't believe the phone will accept a card larger than 4GB. I recently read in the Tracfone forums that the 4GB is the largest card the LG800GHL phone will accept, regardless of what the specs actually say. The post is here: http://www.tracfoneforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=6180&t=169088
Unfortunately, I have not tried a card larger than 4GB on my phone, so I can't say this is 100% true or not.

From what I am reading, the LG800GHL phone does not accept a card over 4GB regardless of what the specs say. I can't say that I am 100% positive but mine works just fine with a 4GB card and have not tried to see if a larger card will work or not. I just read it in the Tracfone forums about the size limitations.
