Can't see movie

After watching a movie we left the room. When we returned my grandson was playing with the remote. Now we can hear the movie, but cannot see it. The screen says "invalid signal". How do I fix it?

Onkyo TX-SR605 7.1 Channels Receiver: Same thing. We were watching cable tv through our Onkyo Home theater system one evening. When finished, we shut everything down normally and went to bed. In the morning, we could hear only sound. There was no picture and we also received the message "weak signal". We checked all wiring. All was intact. The manual did not address this problem. Customer service said to bring it in. We are under warranty. Any suggestions?

If your grandson was playing with the remote he might have pressed the video source button. IE on some TV's its TV/ANT or video source or TV/video button. simply slowly press the button until the image is restored

When I try to play a movie, I only see the warning sign on the screen. I can hear the movie playing, but the warning will not go away. This is even when the vehicle is in park. Any ideas what may be wrong?

Bypass Code
1. Go into Am/Fm mode
2. Hit "setup" on the remote control
3. Enter 543210 on the remote, listening for the beep for each number entered
4. A new menu will appear. Touch the button that has the hammer/screwdriver on it in the upper left-hand part of the screen
5. Select Brake bypass to "ON" and hit the "X" near the bottom of the screen

No sound, No more

Sorry it took so long to reply, to your request for help. You need to use you owners manual and go to the section on audio controls. Check every function that can turn off the volume to the television while it is playing. Make sure all the controls are set properly for the use of the audio on the television. If you cannot find the problem and correct it this way, you can call the RCA customer support telephone number 1-800-645-4994. Give them the model number of your remote control and ask them for their assistance. I hope this information helps you with your remote control problem. Thank you for using FixYa and have a nice day!

Walmart has been accepting returns on these players because the manufacturer of this product line went out of business last year. Walmart was aware of it at the time of business with them. The best thing to do is take it back to the nearest Walmart and get a store credit and/or file a complaint on ripoffreport.com
