Question about Dell Dimension 2400 PC Desktop
Thanks antioc for your quick help. Will I be able to install a new power supply myself or do I need to get someone in to do it for me. Ta, elep
You should be able to do it yourself. It's four screws that hold it in back, then all the power connectors.
If you're feeling unsure still, go to youtube and do a search on replacing a power supply....make sure you watch one in reference to a pc, not a mac or anything lol. And, when purchasing one, don't let the sales people hype you up to something with way more wattage than you need... 400 watt should be plenty for a dell 2400....it probably only has a 250 or 300 watt in it now anyways.
