SOURCE: the tv keeps blowing fuses

Hi your problem is that a component(s) inside your TV has probably short circuited to Earth, this then causes a massive current to flow and this blows the fuse. Due to the types of Component failure from this, this TV should go to a reputable repair shop. Get a firm "Quote" and an explanation of what needs to be done.

SOURCE: blown fuse

Most likely there was a power event (surge, brownout, ect) that caused the power supply to fail in the TV causing the fuse to blow. you will need to have someone come and look at the unit and give you an estimate. If you keep putting fuses in and blowing them you could actually be causing more damage.

Tv keeps blowing fuses when its plugged in...

There should not be any reason for the new TV to blow a 15 amps fuse in the house.
The TV has an internal short circuit even if it is new, I would suggest to return it and get another one.
Good Luck.

RCA P60920BL 60 in. Rear Projection Television Fuse

I am assuming that you preplaced the flyback and horizontal out together. Even if you did, was it blowing fuses before? Usually with this chassis, the horizontal will not blow the fuse. It will just keep the swith mode power supply from operating. Double check and make sure you didn't have a soldered blob get away from the iron and "splash" somewhere on the board

You may want to check the regulator IC. RCA had a lot of shorted regs

RCA R52WH74 (ITC222A Chassis)

no the board that has the FL231 on is the ITC222 deflection board. The other board is above the chassis in a seperate frame that runs across the set the convergence power supply is the board on the left above the board where the fL231 is. Yes the ITC222 and ITC222A are the same chassis. As for the service manual that site should have the service manual under the thomson category as the ITC 222 chassis is actually a thomson chassis made for RCA.

RCA D52W20 52 Fuse problem

Well you could always use a bigger fuse but I would not advise to do it, it could and most likely will blow tv not fuse. Fuses ussually blow from a short or power surge. If it is new or under warranty I would return it for replacement or repair.

You most likely need a new convergence power supply board if fl231 keeps blowing thats the most likely cause, also check for shorthed capacitor cp231. If you need a link to get a replacement convergence power supply board, let me know I know where you can get them.

RCA CHASSIS CTC195K BLOWA SCR

make sure that the scr has adequate insulation. I have run into this problem before several times, and it always comes back to the scr and heatsink. check for shorts before you plug it in. unless you have an isolation transformer, do not hook up ac powered equipment to chassis ground, as this will blow your transistor again. use dc poweered volt-ohm meter.
