I have a Scotts Speedy Green 2000 spreader, and the product I have gives directions for the following: Scotts Basic; Standard; Accugreen 2000 and Accugreen 3000. Which direction should I follow?

Speedy Green setting is about 1 number greater than the Scotts Standard number. So, if for the standard it calls for a setting of 4.5, the speedy green should be 5.5 to 5.75.

Need a setting for Scott's Speedy Green EdgeGuard mini

First, I went to the products website, in this case Lesco and looked up the spreader settings:
https://www.johndeerelandscapes.com/home/spreader-settings.aspx

Then, I went to Scotts website and looked up spreader settings:
http://www.scotts.com/smg/node2/SCOTTSCOM/lawn-care/lookup-spreader-settings/7800015-24900013-s

I cross referenced a product on the Scotts website that uses the same settings as one of those listed on the Lesco website and I found my settings that way.

In my case I was using Lesco Pre-M 0.86% 0-0-7 and wanted to apply 5.3 lbs/1000ft. My spreader was a Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard Mini with settings from 0-15. I found out by cross referencing that the Scotts Speedy Green 1000 and my spreader used the same settings. So I ended up using the recommended setting of 5.5, as listed on the Lesco website for the Scotts Speedy Green 1000, to apply 5.3 lbs/1000ft of pre emergent using my Scotts EdgeGuard Mini.

Hope this helps!

I have a scotts standard spreader what setting should i set for using xl 2g specialty herbicide

If the product you are planning on applying has a spreader setting for a Scotts Speedy Green, or specifically for the Speedy Green 2000; you can use that recommendation in your Scotts Standard Spreader. If they do not have a suggested spreader setting for the SpeedyGreen, or SpeedyGreen 2000 settings then this question would best be answered by calling Scotts directly @ 1-800-543-8873. One of our associates would be happy to assist you further.

Lost manual

I have a Scotts speedy green 3000. Got it $5 used. I just called Scotts, and they are sending me a manual. But, they told me how to calibrate it. First, you need to know if you have the same "version" as I do. Apparently they made the same model more than one way. I'm told I have a newer one. The way the Scotts rep differentiated was by the wheels. I have all black wheels with orange hubcaps. Older models have orange wheels. If you have the model I have, then do this to calibrate the spreader:

1. On the black slide that comes up when the handle is pulled to open the spreader and releasing product you will find a curved line about 1/2 and inch from the top.

2. Set the spreader to a setting of 2 on the handle.

3. When you pull the lever as if you were releasing product, the indented black line should line up with the curved part of the green hopper at the top of the opening.

4. If it does not align, then you need to adjust the cable that run from the handle down to the hopper door. This is done using pliers of wrench by turning the square nut at the bottom of the cable. It's trial and error at this point.

Mine was off by 30%.

Good luck
